Karen had this interesting quiz posted over at her
site, and I have to admit that the results surprised me. As an Episcopalian, the high percentage of Roman Catholicism didn't really surprise me. But where did the high Evangelical ranking come from? And with the way my thinking has evolved in the past few years, I'm curious that my Post-Modernist leanings didn't rank a bit higher.

I don't know...I think this reflected your background and open-mindedness. You see the many sides of things...
Those statements on the theological quiz were strange! I felt as if I had been asked, "When did you stop beating your kids?"
The various shadings of 'agree' to 'disagree' are not helpful. It's like asking me to use any color of the rainbow to describe my experience with my vacuum cleaner. Huh?
It's probably just me; everyone else understands it completely. I did get one, though: "God said it. I believe it."

Not that I am influenced by the Methodists (which incidentally is an incorrect term - should be United Methodists) or by John Wesley, my heart is "strangely warmed" when I hear the Gospel.
Life is too short for us to be caught up in labels and then have to explain the "labels" to others.
I trust in God's goodness, I trust in His promises, I trust in His power... If that makes me a (insert label here) then so be it...
