Frederick Buechner once wrote, “The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn't have been complete without you." I started this blog to share random thoughts about my quest to become a better father, husband, and Christian, and to discuss what I learn in my everyday life and where my place at the party might be. I look forward to comments and stories from you about your own journeys.

Warp 9, Mr. Sulu!
The computer tech was here before 7:00 this morning, and five hours later the Enterprise is up and running at full speed. Turns out that the entire operating system was corrupted by what appears to be one e-mail that I had received at some point. Amazing what one file can do!

What happened to anti-virus before you open your e-mail? Sorry to hear your predicament. It's frustrating when computer is down. One can't simply work.
Now, your ship's back! :)
you're scaring me.
If I'm scaring because of the problems I've had with the computer, then I've done my part to warn the public. However, if I'm scaring you because of all of the Star Trek analogies, then I promise those are now done:-)
Glad you are back on-line. I've been too busy to do much reading until today but I enjoyed reading a few days past. You know the pilfering began in the OT with the sons of Eli. Weren't they the ones that make the people give them the best parts? I'll have to go back and read it, but I could swear it was something like that.
Glad you are back Matt. I use an antivirus / antipest package from Computer Associates that seems to work - but you never know :(
