How many times do we sit and wonder what God's plan is for us? How many times do you stop in the middle of the day and wonder, "Is this what I'm supposed to be doing?"
One of the best films I've ever seen, Simon Birch, examines that very thing -- and if you haven't seen it before now, I highly recommend you get it as soon as possible. Based on John Irving's book A Prayer for Owen Meany, it's a wonderful story that will make you laugh as much as it will make you cry. I don't know why I thought of that film today -- it was just there. In searching the web tonight, I found this clip from the film; even a child can hold his own in a theological discussion and express questions about his own search for the truth.....

Thanks for sharing this, now i have to go get the movie. A prayer for Owen Meaney is possible my husbands favorite book, i don't know how many times he has read it. Maybe i'll have to read it now too.

Well I cried buckets after watching that film and gave myself a headache! fabulous though! (I think!?)
what a great clip...I ask myself that question at least once a day. I think it's good to continually be asking that question...

Over at his Debate Central web site, Mitt Romney’s campaign played a clip of Joe Scarborough, a conservative MSNBC host, saying he’d received many e-mails from conservatives praising Mr. Romney’s performance. The campaign’s communication director, Matt Rhoades, released a statement crowning his boss the victor.
So are you working for the Mittster now? I know they botched the last name, but I also know you were looking for a job not so long ago. Is this a small detail you forgot to mention to the rest of us? :o)
Ha! No, not me -- he used to work at the RNC while I was on the Hill. I've never met the guy, although I tended to get his e-mails misdirected to me every so often.
I'm still exploring the market at this point....
